The relationship between manufacturing, microstructure and mechanical properties of metals, polymers and ceramics are covered, as well as the current state of the art in the field of additive manufacturing. Interactive learning is through laboratory experience are incorporated through the Johnson & Johnson Laboratory and the MakerBot Laboratory.
